Build with Monero: a public read-only API from this site, merchant payments via RugWard Pay, and the official RPC references.
RugWard Pay
Accept XMR in your app: RugWard Pay
Do not build your own payment processor for a store. RugWard Pay already handles XMR invoices (10 confirmations), hosted checkout, API keys and signed webhooks, with funds going straight to your wallet.
Public API (read-only, no key)
| GET /api/v1/network | Height, difficulty, network hashrate, latest block reward, fee per byte for 4 priorities with example fees, XMR price (source + time). Cron snapshot every 10 min, live fallback. |
| GET /api/v1/nodes | Remote Node Health Board: last check per node (height, reference height, latency, TLS, version) + 24 h / 7 d uptime. |
| GET /api/v1/tx?txid=<64 hex> | Public output data of one transaction, cross-checked on two nodes, with confirmations. Takes ONLY a txid; run check_tx_key yourself with the returned data. |
| GET /api/v1/swap?from=xmr&to=btc&amount=1 | Live swap comparison (RugWard/ChangeNOW keyed quote + public rates + Kraken reference). 3 requests/min per IP; geo-restricted like RugWard. |
| GET /api/v1/nonceward | Number of RandomX rigs listed on NonceWard's public market API right now. |
| GET /api/v1/status | Every module with its status and the reason. |
Rate limits: 120 requests per minute per IP on read endpoints, 20 per minute on endpoints that call external nodes. JSON responses; errors are {"error": "…"}. No CORS: call it from your server.
curl -s https://xmr.rugward.com/api/v1/network | jq '.height, .fee.perBytePriorities'
# Verify a payment yourself (TypeScript, browser or server): fetch the public tx, then run check_tx_key locally
const r = await fetch("https://xmr.rugward.com/api/v1/tx?txid=" + txid).then((r) => r.json());
// r.tx.outputs[i] = { key, viewTag, amount, ecdh, commitment }, r.confirmations, r.crossCheckedStagenet sandbox
BetaRun monerod and monero-wallet-rpc on stagenet, get test coins from checked faucets, and check stagenet payments and fees, all without real XMR.

- TypeScript: Planned (payment verification + API client)
